Argentina beat Frabnc3e by 21 points - but both teams scored four tries and got a bonus point each for that,   So the top 2 positions in the relevant group is 11 points.   So France remain as a potential sem9final team

At this stage Australia and Argentina has gone through to the semi's 

That leaves the winner of the 2rd group - either NZ or SA could go through.  It will all depend on the margin of loss by the loser is 7 points or less.   Both NZ and SA wouid go through,   If both sides scores 4 tries or more both sides will go trough.   If the loser fails to get  a bonus point, the loser will be out.    

So SA beat NZ and since the margin was 8  points NZ is out of Cup contention ending with only  10 points.  

The overall log is now s follows:-

1    South Africa

2    Argentina

3    Australia

4    France

SA meets France in the semi and Argentina plays Australia.
