England looks to have a very formidable team and will be a hard nut to crack for SA - who has to play them next.  Won comforably and all Departments had a vey good game.  Not so sure about France though - they made far too many mistakes and may not be the strongest opposition around,

As expected Ireland beat Australia narrowly.  The Aussie team was very compatitive - but there is a problem inasmuch as they lost too many line-outs on own throw.   Will have to improve drastically in that Department if they want to go further in the competition.

Now lets get to the Under 20 All Blacks team - a huge AB win - but I noticed that Fiji had two players redcarded and they were playing for quite a long part of the match with 14 and ultimately13 players.   Will watch the game later in the evening and make furter comments then.

The SA - USA game was a tryscoring spree - but the kicking at goal was atrociously bad. Pollard desperately tried to be worse than Morne's kicking at goal was last year and ended up disgracing himself in that respect.   In a tighter game like will happen against England - goalkicing must be accurate to perfection.  What are the youngsters going to do about goal kicking before Sunday when they play England?

The speed of the outside backs and centers beat the USA under 20'2 wholesale but is that going to b enough on Sunday?  One good thing noticed was that the ball handling of the SA youngsters were very good with minimal knock-ons or loss of possession.

The top position in the Pool will be decided on Sunday in the match between England and SA and I hope our boys are ready for the onslaught and repeat what they did last year in SA.

As I implied in your other thread, Mike, I thought the Americans would have put up a bit of a better fight then that.

Good News from the JWRT. Canada won it's pool and will play Italy to see who gets to be in the JWC next year!! :)

Dries Swanepoel was immense and I hope to see Rohan too. They already showed that the driving maul is going to be a potent weapon!

Beeno you said Samoans were dirty players, Fiji and Samoa are different countries also Fijians are considered Melanesians not Polynesians. We really do look alike to you don't we.

Poly thanks for the info. I do notice a difference. Fiji oaks seem to be a bit taller. Are you Fijian or Samoan? I need to know who to insult!!! Hahahahahahaha - I may have been wasting all that effort.

I did refer to islanders  which to me include Tonga, Fiji and Samoa?

But please Fiji, up your discipline its hard to play 13 against 15 even against the wee abs - and we dont want them imagining they are any good!!
