The Young Flanker Cameron Hanekom of the Bulls looks really good….looks like we have plenty of good talent.

Very impressed with the new Bulls number 8 - Hanekom, the 21 year old Sacha for the Stormers was sensational Dweba’s throwing in was spot on and he scored a barn storming try Roos was good as was Jason-Dixon and Gelant Ruan Vermaak, Papier and Elrigh Louw were good for the Bulls

Why Elrigh and Roos were let go out of the Bok squad is a Mistery.

That’s going to be a nervous wait…it will be a massive game for Dweba if he does have to start…big pressure.

They should have flown Dweba out as soon as the Bongi saga broke Get him training with the squad for the week Someone like Hendrikse or Orie could take the fall

Why can't Deon Fourie start. He will do great.

Fourie is not big enough for a starting test hooker, especially in a vital match like a WC final - he would compromise the effectiveness of the Bok scrum

Libbok misses 2 easy conversions …lands 3 out of 5. And his little cross kicks are overdone. Handling errors as well. He looks a bit jumpy.

It’s remarkable how much change our teams are getting out of the scrums these days… wonder why.

Manie will be good soon...just needs to relax a bit...it's the thing about confidence players...probably the reason Carlos Spencer never became an Allblack great...did some amazing things, but could never do it consistently for extended periods... Manie will still give us some amazing moments on the rugby field, but I don't see him becoming a Bok stalwart like Pollard...doesn't mean he's a flop either...

He is a magnificent runner with the ball and not a bad out of hand kicker. If we are going to persist  with him, we have to play a more open game…otherwise all we do is weaken our defense.
And somebody else will probably have to do the goal kicking. There is a lot of flow to his kicking, but a lot of variability as a result.
Perhaps somebody like Percy could help him tighten up …Percy is one of the few erratic kickers that changed technique into robotic consistency.

If someone could convert Manie into a kicker with Percy's 2007 success,  that would be awesome...I don't see it happening...if Manie starts, we need another kicker...ATM Willemse @15 isn't reliable enough either...

Draad, Maanie isn't a great defender either though. He's hands down the best distributing 10 in SA. And has X-factor. I'm hoping he comes right.

Manie has the best timed pass in the game...gold...not so much for knockout rugga...he's a cog in the clockwork,  but tbe Bokkel needs more...

Once we get a decent 12, with Moodie at 13. Moodie already plays like he has all the time in the world. A non-donkey 12 and the occasional skip pass from Manie directly Moodie = Big trouble. Moodie was sublime again on the weekend. Looking like the most experienced player in the field. Marx's first couple of seasons at the Lions was the last time I was this excited about a player. The kid ticks literally every box for me. Even boxes I didn't know needed ticking. lol I'm such a fanboy.

I was disappointed Jake never started Moodie at 13, but Gans has been very good at 13 so I guess he is rewarding his form Willemse was good at 12 for the Stormers - I like the idea of a Willemse/Moodie centre combo Ruben v Heerden keeps impressing me at lock for the Stormers, he needs a Bok call up as we need some young blood at lock A player that has never really been mentioned is Francke Horn of the Lions - he is a quality 8 - good skills and always in the right place Gelant was very good at 15 for the Stormers, Elrigh Louw is on fire and Emmanuel Tsituka is a class act Impressed with the power of Dayamani with his many handoffs - we know how quick and skilled he is but I like the strength I saw in him Wilco Louw, Aker and Gerhard Steenkamp are one hell of a frontrow. Wilco is immovable

Tight win….I was quite impressed with the scrum power of Sti Sithole….another player doing well in the Stormers setup….Dobbo really has the nack of building self belief.
