I hope some of you oaks got to watch a few of the URC games. Looks like the SA teams came fast out of the blocks bar the sharks who dominated the entire game.

But I for one is please to see that we are finally welcoming foreign teams to our stadiums.

Can't wait to see full stadiums agains.

Sharks - Still a bit of nonsense in the backline,  missing Am, not to mention Bosch blowing hot and cold. Fassii was the standout for me. Boy,  did he combine well with Hendrikse for a neat piece of play that led to a try. Good on defence and fantastic in the air catching the high ball.

Bulls - Started well, looked like Munster was stuck in first gear but came back towards the end. Still not convince by the bull geriatric bench given that Bismark got red carded and Morne steyn not shutting the game down. Need to look beyond Steyn bring in our next 10

Lions - Same as the bulls, started well but faded a bit in the 2nd half, their backline play was miles better and clever use of the blind side between the backs. For me their new 9 seems full of energy and got the ball moving. Really liking this kid. The other Hendrikse did well. Vincent Techuka as well as Simalane stood out.

Stormers - Willemse exploded from the 12th position to cut through the italian back line for a fantastic worked try. Senatla  looks to finally be finding his feet at 15 with a hatrick and great running. Hopefully we can see him at the boks. Gelant is cementing his spot at 15 and it will be hard to pick  between him and Fassi.

But won't get carried away too much as there were no international players for the visitors other than a De Allende short cameo.

Lets hope our teams can lif themselves off the bottom and have a good run of home games.

Very true...when there best players are present, it will be a different ballgame....but overall our teams played well. It will be hard now, to keep Fassi, Gelant and Willemse out of starting positions for Upcoming Bok season . Roos in my eyes bring more to the table than kwagga for example and should atleast be part of the Squad.

clean sweep week 2 for SA teams.

Looks like the highveld and the heat is proving troublesome for the traveling teams. Energy sapping stuff.

Still not convince on the performances. The only team that look like they were in control were the Bulls.

The sharks weren't playing smart rugby and were trying to score from first phase.

The lions were the lucky ones, but still well deserved after clawing back for a win.

The stormers are looking good but not sure about Willemse at 12 or even in the starting team. His passing is poor as well as his decision making. Still holds onto the ball for too long.

Rikus  Pretorius looks like the real deal.

Even Roose played out of his skin and surely should  be considered now at 8

The real matches starts now. Edinburgh and Ulster will be travelling down with their full team.

Hope we can knock these guys over as it would be a massive lift in the log for our teams.
