Can't believe this. Was really looking forward to kicking back tomorrow and watching a few games. The sharks look especially lethal with almost a full compliment of boks, but instead. Ulster got shit scared and blamed Gastro bug.

So did Glasgow as well. I'm not sure if both teams had the famous bunny chow around the same time or how on earth do both of them end up getting the runs.

Apparently both teams ended up staying in the same hotel in Durban . Might have something to do with it. Also heard it might have been to do with players from both teams swimming in the sea and that E-Coli has been recently found in some of the beaches in Durban resulting in their closure.
Least the games haven't been cancelled and will be replayed later in the season.

Sad to hear that even the sea is contaminated in that part of the world.

But not surprised seeing that almost everything the government has a hand in has gone for a shit.

Sea there has always been full of shite. The pumping station is just otherside Addington.

Glasgow seemed like they were playing and now jumped on the Ulster bandwagon.

They spoke about the teams staying  in two different hotels north of Durban.  Could only be in Umhlanga or in the Casino hotel near Umdloti.    Durban is an unholy mess - they pump raw sewage into the see and there has been complications before about the problem.  Could have been that or the quality of the water provided to the hotel by the City Council.

Ballito north of Durban is rather unique - water provision is  provided by an international company on a concession basis.    I started the process - the first in SA - whilst working for the  Municipality there.  They buy their water from Umgeni Warter - the same institution that provides purified water to Durban.   I am aware that there have been problems with the quality of the purified water provided by Umgeni Water - must say that could have been what happened to the two hotels where the teams are staying.

LOL - but Suzie did not originate from the government in 1995  - in 2022 the SA Government has gone the same route normal in Africa - the country has turned into bankrupt shit.

Embarrassing for the country’s tourist industry.

Mozart - indeed it is - but the Western CFape does not allow that kind of thing and most of the tourists avoided KZN like a plague,

There is another problem as well.   For instnce in Johannesburg there is shortages of water - not because there is not enough water available - but because Eskom power cuts make operation fo pump stations impossible.

There is actually no idea when power will be cit by Eskom.   They change the schedule system whenever it suited them.   We this week had 3 changes to the schedule already.

Service delivery is far from perfect in Durban, but the current problems are mainly due to infrastructure damage due to the extensive flooding earlier the year. It takes time to rebuild major sanitation plants...but I'm sure if it happened in Cape Town, things would have been fixed already...not perfectly,  but enough to protect the environment.

Such a shame, that Sharks-Ulster game looked like a cracker.

Durban sounds sketchy as fuck. So both teams were at same hotel? Either way, sounds like India. Although, big Indian community there.

Missed opportunity for the present boks to get back there match sharpness after sitting out for a month. Will have to see whether they’ll be permitted to play next weekend, even though it is derby matches.

What a disgrace. It was announced.

In a few decades, people will wonder how SA clung to rugby when the infrastructure was so lacking.

And the globalists want the African european cup final to take place in SA, a land of rugby in theirs own words.

What a thinking. Or what a lack of it.
