Did someone not tell the Eagles before the match they have to tackle the chest area and the ball when playing against the All Blacks.

The offloading ability of the All Blacks means it does not matter if their is space because they can just run straight, but instead of crash balling they stay on their feet long enough to offload to the next runner. It may take a few offloads to result in a clean break or overlap, but it is going to keep happening again and again. Once a clean break or overlap happens, the general passing skills of the support runners is enough to draw any remaining defenders until they run out of numbers.

Advice to the Eagles. You are going to lose badly and the only option is to try keep the score down by preventing as many offloads as possibale. Tackle the chest area and try pin the All Blacks arms to their sides while trying to free the ball from the tackled player.

67-6 with 10 mins left. All blacks having their way. Joubert so chummy with the ABs its off-putting.

The American commentator said after the match: "The All Black forwards seem to get away with murder as they are allways offside".

Good tune up game & we saw some players who needed the time get the time. Great to see Carter play, he makes it look so easy.
A few injuries, looked like Jane messed up his knee & SBW looked a little crook. We will see what the post game feedback is.
Eagles gave it their best so well done boys!

Yea SB , my impression it wasn't fairly reffed.
Credit to all blacks - great ambassadors of the sport. Rugby one of the last sports you can still find humility amongst champions.
