Vermeulen best in offence and defence.

While the fans go gaga over Engelbrecht, Labuschagne and other newbies....Vermeulen does massive work in every game.

He carried the ball 10 times....each a bruising affair battering his way forward against multiple hits for 46 metres....most of any Stormer. And then he has the energy to produce a 17 tackles made, none missed....defensive performance....second most tackles, but given none missed,  the best of any Stormer.

 

Look no further in this year's tests.

Vermeulen was huge, but Labascagne impresses with every game. He was damn good for the Cheetahs again. They said he had the highest tackle count in the competition and the part he played in that try he scored today was pretty impressive.

 

Labascagne definately deserves a Bok squad spot, too good a player to ignore.
