Firstly congrats to Fiji, and to the Blitz Boks who played much more positively in the Bronze match. It's a great story for Fiji after the devastating cyclone.
The Blitz boys were very disappointing against the Poms, but  we seem to win these Bronze matches, 99 WC, 2015 WC and today. Still Fiji were the most entertaining and dominant team of the tournament.
It's a pity there was no tension in those matches. The Poms bottled out to a man, and Japan were spent.

This is a fun form of the sport, but the matches should have 10 minute halves. With the really short half upsets are likely, which is enjoyable, but kills the later contest. Japan, brave Blossoms aside, should not have been in the semis.

I also wonder if this game shouldn't be played with 10 players....just a bit more structure and a higher degree of scoring difficulty, might make it more satisfying.

To be honest the Korean and Chinese ladies in the table tennis semi put up a more compelling contest.

Congrats to Fiji, the Fijians will be celebrating like never before. They have contributed so many outstanding players to rugby & have almost no infrastructure or money to support their teams . Well done boys!!
