Virat Kholi class

 Yes well done Kholi. Still think we lack a quality spinner and that our attack lacks a good backup for Steyn and a good allrounder. Our top six batsmen is as good if not better than any around.

Not sure de Kock is there yet. There is a huge difference scoring big runs at home in routine T 20 internationals and producing the goods in a WC. There are lessons here for our cricket chaps and also for our rugby, de Kock might have been better down the order.
There were four  key points in the game. The edgy start with de Kock, which required a period of consolidation. The loss of Faff and  AB when we seemed to be getting on top....both out to errors of commission. The poor first five overs with the ball, when we needed to establish pressure. And finally when we still had a shot the two disastrous overs by McLaren and Dale.

I'd say we were a bit short with both bat and ball. That said, if necessary I think Kholi could have found another 20 runs if needed. Like it or not this game was likely to be decided by the AB vs Kholi contest, and on the day Kholi showed great maturity.  We were well beaten in the end.
