There was a visitor (from Ireland) here a few days ago...he seemed a very humble pleasant fella and seemed intelligent and well informed on NH rugby.

This sadly ended briefly...these oafs here sent him back like they have done many in the past.

It's not exactly as if this forum is choosey ....it certainly cannot afford that.

We have so few if any representation other than NZ and Saffa Ex Pats...it certainly would be welcome if we could have posters from other countries too.

There are posters here that put visitors down and it's shocking...

Rubbish Chaballs. One poster was mistakenly identified as Spam by the Ruckers software and came up for review. He was knocked out by 5 posters. This happened despite that fact that the string was building responses....one from me. That correspondence should be a caution to posters who press the delete button. I had already done so earlier, but then saw Shark (I believe) responding.....and responded myself. .. So we can't simply use the software as accurate, Ed never intended it that way. But there is so much spam the system has eliminated it serves a useful purpose, and posters have got complacent about just pushing the button. .. It was an innocent error stop acting like an hysterical school girl.

I was the first to respond to him.

Many hit the delete button without first checking the contents. I've done it and I'm sure a few others too.

Perhaps we should first see what it's about before we allow the itch to get the better of us.

He could have made a valuable contribution to this site.

Can't Ed make his up address valid again? Then if he tried to post he would not be blocked. You never know, he could give it another shot.

Yes, we're losing posters because of self-important twats like Moffie who have never wielded any kind of power in their sad and pathetic lives and who think they're cool and special because they can vote off new posters.
As I said before, the 5 posters who voted the new guy off should have their spam-voting rights revoked.

Oh the irony, from the only Poster Ed has chastised for incorrectly using the delete module. Remember this classic: .. 'March 17, 2017, 16:07:54 Hi RooiNek With respect, you shouldn't worry about how others portray you, but rather how you portray yourself. Don't worry how Voldemort presents you. We all have our own opinions on you already. What's done is done, but please can all posters refrain from deleting non spammers? Yours in rugga Ed' ... After that Urinal utterred the immortal: ' 'I'm out of here. DumbAss/Voldemort/Sonny Bill wins. I lose.' . Truest thing he ever wrote, he loses, that's what he does. .. LMAOFY!

Oh look, it's the childish and destructive old relic who just had a whole bunch of his spiteful and pathetic margin wrecking posts deleted by the editor!
LMAO!
Surprised the sad loser is showing his face so soon . . . it's still full of egg . . . but here he is demanding his right to delete new posters and trying to blame the software.

Not demanding anything. I made an honest mistake and I admitted it. If Ed wants to remove my privileges I wouldn't blame him. As for the margin correction thing, I fully expected Ed was going to fix it.....I certainly would if I was the Editor. It was a temporary strategy that totally achieved it's purpose. .. So no, no surprise, no anger......no running away from the Board with my tail between my legs like you... hahaha.

Ed should make contact with this Irish poster and tell him of our "unintentional" blunder and that there are posters here that want to apologise and repent for cutting him off and that he is very welcome here.

I'm sure everybody here agrees.

Hi Ruckers His account was reactivated. We also sent him a mail excusing some of your behavior. Please use the delete function more responsibly, otherwise we'd need to remove it and let all the spam through. Yours in rugga Ed

Thanks Ed. I don't remember if I was one of those who hit the delete button in this case but if so my bad & I will be more careful in the future.

When I first saw the post, I was about to click on it. I thought the handle/username had a spelling error, and therefore part of the spam.2 posts were creating as warnings, but the clickers continued.

Hi Cloudy Thank you for your concern and comments. With an average of over 110 spam accounts created weekly, it becomes increasingly difficult to manage. It is thus that we created the system as you know it today. There are often days that go by without us being on the forum, so we do miss things from time to time. Please, if you could suggest any better method of controlling the garbage, please feel free to make the suggestion. Your positive and proactive suggestions will certainly be taken seriously. Yours in rugga Ed

Hi Cloudy Thanks for the suggestion. However it may prove to be a bit challenging for you as you retreat from the site for weeks at a time. Being a spam admin would require your services every second day. We will keep it in mind though. The current system we have has wiped away over 6000 spammers. With the single legitimate hiccup with our new Irishman last week, the current system has worked a great. Thanks again for your suggestion and concern. Yours in rugga Ed

Ed, I don't believe anyone deliberately set about wiping our Irish friend, it happened at a time the board was clogged up with spammers. I'm not sure but I could easily be one of those who hit the delete button assuming it was a spammer.
The simple solution is for us to be a bit more careful by opening the post to confirm whether it's spam or not before we hit the delete button.

"All's well that ends well. . ."
So mission accomplished then, Moffie?
You and your Servile Gimps voted off a new rugby poster and you're preening your feathers expecting everyone to thank you?
The posters who voted waraf off should have their voting rights revoked.

I reckon shyte about Drumpf and Jeebers puts off more posters than anything else one could name .Come to think of it I know for a fact it has having had feedback from some Welsh chaps I got to have a look at ruckers .That and all the attacks on each other but I suppose one has to have a hide as thick as an old rhino to survive on here.
