Bringing in so many new young players, and discarding the experienced ones proved to be a disaster.
The new players will probably not even be test starters in 4 years, so it is hardly a rebuilding phase to replace the most experienced players just before a World Cup.
Australia should have started a quarter-final finish, or even a semi due to the unbalanced quarter-finals.
Then after the World Cup, the old players could be retired- and the rebuilding phase could begin- (assuming new young players are test standard potential)
