Wallabies team leaked?

Robbie Deans has said he's only naming his team for the 1st test against the British Lions tomorrow, but I suspect the side may have been leaked because there's an article on the normally reliable RugbyHeaven website claiming they have Saturday's team already.

 

The team they have put up is as follows: (please note this is still unofficial so make changes to your Fantasy teams at your own risk)

 

Wallabies XV: Benn Robinson, Stephen Moore, Ben Alexander, James Horwill (c), Kane Douglas, Ben Mowen, Michael Hooper, Wycliff Palu,Will Genia, James O'Connor, Digby Ioane, Christian Lealiifano, Adam Ashley-Cooper, Israel Folau, Berrick Barnes.

Reserves: Saia Faingaa, James Slipper, Sekope Kepu, Rob Simmons, Liam Gill, Nick Phipps, Kurtley Beale, Pat McCabe.

 

Personally I think they'd be crazy to start the donkey Berrick Barnes at fullback but otherwise it looks pretty solid.

 

Rooinek It is indeed likely to be the team to take the field. I think that the ide would be to interchange Barnes and O'Connor at flyhalf depending on the circumstances applicable at specific times during the match. When defening it is likely that Barnes may be the flyhalf - when attacking it may be O'Connor. However, nobody can really work out the team without having the Lions team together with the OZ one. I still think we are all going to have a serious financing problem in any event and some selections will be influenced by the funding issue. Problem is that it is a test rugby case and the score may be comparatively low - so in some cases of expensive players - the result may be a waste of money..

This is a formidable side, and may well be the starting team.

Three fly-halves in the starting 15. Sounds like anything except a conservative gameplan. I expect them to really push the pace and width of the game against the Lions. Lions looked most susceptible when the Super 15 teams took quick lineouts, spread it wide, recycled quickly, played with speed. Aussies will be rested and well-conditioned.
