Congratulations to Sean McMahon on his test debut. Fairly solid selections. Still some tight five issues but probably as good as we could do.

Speight and Dan Carter notable omissions this weekend.

Speights defense was a bit shaky against the Baa Baas and I didn't think he would make the starting side. Cheika must think he is not ready at this stage. Carter too would be a bit underdone at the minute.

I told you that leaving out M cMahon would be foolish - he is a class act.

Noted Mike. Cheika is a man of his word and told the players that a great performance in the Baa Baa match would push their selection. I thought he may go for more size to offset Hoopers comparative weakness over the ball. McMahon does play above his weight and look for him to shine.

Some selection errors here. Speight should have started ahead of Tomane. Horwill should have started as well.
Wobblies have a good backline. Leali'ifano isa good pick.
I wobblies pack is up to it they should beat Wales.

What happened to Quade Cooper and Will Genia I wonder? Something to do with those Kiwi dominated  Barbarians giving the Wallaby coach the scare of his life .

Awesome oak it is commonly acknowledged the Saffas came on and turned the game on it' s head as the kiwis were messing up.Cooper and Genia are underdone. Genia could have lost some speed.

Turned the game on it's head alright Beeno. The NZ dominated Barbarians won the first half and then those bench warming players of dubious origin came on and couldn't maintain the standard set in the first half by the Kiwis . Hence the reason they were on the bench in the first place. Such a shame as any Wallaby team with Quade Cooper and Genia are always going to be ripe for the picking.
