Delande was useless today. Sasha Fienberg needs someone outside him that can run supporting lines. Maybe AM could start next week at 12. Not sure Pollard is the answer at 12 either, but he has more brains than Delande.

" Damian had a solid game.". - besides the one turnover, pls explain to us Draad how you can claim he had a solid game?

He chucked a pass into no-man's land, stuffing momentum.
He gave the ABs a try at a crucial time in the game, handing them momentum at the start of the second half.
His serious pace deficit basically saw him shepherd Clarke in for a try.
All we hear is that he makes tackles and bashes in midfield. But there are other players, with pace, skill and attacking smarts that can do that too.
It really is time for him to go.

AE is as thick as a brick?
He's so much more solid all around than DDA that it's not even a contest.
The only people on this site that still support DDA are from WP.
Beeno, Mike, Draad.
Now, I'm not usually one to call out provincial bias but it's pretty clear in this instance.
Cumon you three, you know what I'm talking about!

The role as roaming third flanker works with the more conservative Forward oriented game plan of Rassie.
As we can see that is mostly still the way we play and it doesn’t look like it will change any time soon, maybe never.
Rassie did mention in a interview, that the boks need to move on from being a 1 trick pony and needs to add the Back line play to the arsenal.
If he is really serious about that, then his first change should have been dropping DA and Jessica.
So until that happens, the brillant talent of SFM is wasted and the full potential we might possess, will never be unlocked.
Also the Brilliant Attack coach in Tony Brown, will be for nothing. Swys has mentioned it before with his time at the Boks, the more he was pushing for Attack, the more Rassie was pushing for a conservative style.
Another important factor that has been mentioned by Moz, is having Loose Forwards in your team that can break tackles, link with the Backline and offload. Not only bashing it up and looking for the Contact, but looking for the space.
Players like Kwagga, Louw, Cameron Hanekom, BJ Dixon, possibly Roos, Francke Horn, Thsituka Brothers, Marcel Theunnisen is the players in that mold that will take us forward.
In conclusion all of this talk is actually for nothing, if the man in charge Erasmus, does not believe that himself and changes it. He is still far to comfortable reverting to Stampkar as our main style of play!

Looks like Kolisi suffered a Cheekbone fracture and Arendse a concussion….so they won’t be available for the second clash at newlands….

Yes Hanekom is a good idea and he is on Rassies radar. He was also at the alignment camps….so he will be in the Bok camp sooner than later, hopefully.
I think he played his first game for the Bulls this weekend after returning from injury.
Then I also wonder if Wilco will eventually get his chance and Ruben van Heerden?? Man these guys are good and can be a great asset for the Boks.

Draad excuse these ignorant twits - Kolisi had another powerful game with plenty of impact with those carries

DDA plays a role in Erasmus,s set up of conservative forward oriented game style.
Now that a more balanced style of Rugby is being applied, he is totally out of his depth.
A 12 should at least be able to pass the ball, but he can’t even do that . Instead his passes lands in no man’s land or they get intercepted.
Also his positional play in the midfield leaves unnecessary gaps for try scoring opportunities. Jessica is the same and both of Caleb,s tries were because of rushing up to fast or positional lapses that gave the AB the necessary space to punish us.
Now we are supposed to look over all his short comings and just because of a turnover + a couple of tackles, he is supposedly the best 12 in the Game?!
Thanks for nothing I say and happy holidays for your future…but please go and give us a 12 that can think on his feet…a 12 that will fit together with the Brilliant SFM that clearly thinks while he is playing like a super star.
There is plenty of other better options, but Erasmus is holding on because of favouritism and false loyalty.
Because he is so strong, I also say give him a go of the bench as a flank. He spends most of his time at rucks in Anycase. That way he can effect more turnovers for us.

de Allende is a class act - 3 turnovers won, a defender beaten and plenty of metres gained in traffic
He was massively physical and not to mention the try saving tackle on Savea - that was a big hit
