“Tri-Nation’s winners, blanking the All Blacks 3-0 in the process” ….
Did you really have to remind us of that Louis? I hate the AB’s losing, my persona changes, I get irritable, I don’t sleep well, my alcohol intake increases and my wife won’t talk to me …

Well then, time you thanked the Boks for giving you a reason to get some alone time, drink a bottle on your own and stay up all night.

On the 12th December my wife and I am going for a weekend to the Barossa Valley to partake in a few of what the region is well known for… wine. Irrespective of the size of the bottle, I can assure you without any fear of contradiction, biltongbek, that quite a few corks will be discarded over that weekend. We are going to two other couples (equally mad on rugby and wine!) and I reckon more than a few lies will be told and truths stretched…
My son is an Air Force pilot who is being posted to another location in January and our daughter in law is a wine maker in the Barossa … rugby season will be over, time to enjoy the faire and festivities …

Weekend to the Barossa Valley – you must live in or near Adelaide?

No mate Queensland … just taking the silverbird and will be there in 2-3 hours. But when ‘our boy’ is in WA, that takes 6 hours… but with Margaret River and Swan Valley calling, it matters not … we will be there … as long as it does not interrupt the rugby season!

I do love how you always manage to find a silver lining in even the darkest cloud RT

Haha! … regretfully, this ‘ole fella does not have a great deal of trade in value left, so I guess I am stuck with the one who has hung around for the past 44+ years …
