10 all at half time. Hougaard scores just before half time.

All in the balance. Anybody watching live?

Judging by these remarks the bulle are not exactly distinguishing themselves> But they are still very much in the game of course.

I’ve got the Waratahs to win this one. They aren’t amazing but I do think they have the ability to take down what has lately been a pretty average Bulls side.

Komaan manne, moer hulle stukkend. Met ‘n bonuspunt.

Defence boys
Nou vir die blou (pienk) Split personality stuff is troubling bulle! EK DINK DIE PIENKES GAAN HULLE KAF DRAF! (Sounds very impressive?)  Bad midfield defence and a try to the tahs. 10 – 3 We’ve got something like 30% of the ball
They keep attacking our midfield and its not holding Another 1st phase move from the set-piece emabarrasses the Bulls. I can’t wait to see what this defence coach can do with the Boks. (How abou tthe second choice bulle backline coach Loubscher?) Sadie what are you doing mate? Bulls are just making mistake after mistake after mistake. They haven’t done nothing constructive at all. Steyn not kicking out penalty,Kirchner running like a headless chicken and centers not tackling. Something is seriously wrong here. Seems like Sadie is turning out to be a bit of a damp squib.(put it down to bad company - he was fine down here last year) Yellow card to the ‘Tahs
Morne is kicking for touch
Rolmaal Tryyyy!!!
Hougie your beut Bulls battle to play catch-up rugby and Bulls lose 60% of their mojo as soon as they step on a plane headed Down Under. And while they look pretty in pink, it’s the pretty silly sort of pretty rather than the pretty fearsome kind. (Nice summary of the position but it will not go down well with windpomp who is wearing  his pink bulle jersey right now and biting his finger nails!)

16-10 to warts at 48 mins

Penalty - Chiliboy is blown up for not rolling away. Tough call, as he was nowhere close to the ball, but the upshot is a shot at goal for Barnes, which he duly slots. Hmmmmm

The bulls dfense is looking salightly better, strange thing though, they don't seem to take the opposition down to the ground, they rather keep them up, to create a maul situation, can work, however can backfire just as bad.

Ek it appears ths iis a strategy the bulle are trying but it has not worked for them. Better to knock them back behind advantage line.

Seems Sadie is having a nightmare.  See below comment

The centre is having a mare. This is perhaps his fourth spill, and he had a couple of missed tackles as well. Time to bring on Engelbrecht.

Wake up bulle!!!!!

Yes he is not really having a good day, however i think that comment is a bit over the top. As I said previously their defense has not been good up to now, in the season, but they seem to have worked on it this week. It still needs work. Not taking the tackle point to the ground has not worked , but I think it could work if they spend more time on it and perfect it. The reason i think it hasn't wokred is because of excecution not because it is a bad idea.

If you hold the guy up you must not go backwards he must.  We shall see if this thing can succeed if perfected.

21-20 to warts at 69 minutes. Going down to wire

.

Ek besides the scoreline who is getting the better of game?

Actually it has been see saw all game. a good game to watch. At this stage the bulls have the upperhand, i would say, but no team is dominating. The way it should be. Tah's scrum has also been good, Bulls have made a few lineout bumps since wepener came on.

Werner kruger scores.

Yes bulle squeak home - just as well they got the necessasy inspiration by considering the exploits of the Mighty Stormers.

That was very close.

The one thing that horryfied me was the scrumming of the Buls.   They got penalized a number of times - legitimately so and this can largewly be attributed to the tight five.   The problem however, essentially resolves around the props and hooker.    Th key issue relates to work rate in the scrums and those were missing.

The Bulls were lucky to win this one - andit can basically be ascribed to the poor defence of the back line and loosies and the constant losing of the ball.   Sadie has the physical cqapacity to perform - bu I believe the coaching has gone out of the window in this case.   He should have remained in the Stromers - where he would have had better coaching and performances.

However, do not blame Sadie alone for a very average performance against a relatively weak side - bearing in mind that the Waratahs are not really in the log top half.
