Well then, maybe I'm stupid but in my experience, when New Zealanders get over-confident and start assuming big wins is exactly when they fall flat on their faces.

Remember the 2003 RWC when they painted their front row onto the jumbo jet in anticipation of winning the Cup? Remember all the big talk before they got pasted by the Frogs in 1999?

I wouldn't be crazy enough to put money on the Boks winning but I just have a hunch.

 I doubt it....seems RooiRooi thought he could back off the AB contingent with the great insight only he had. Just a pity they actually had to play the game.
This blooper joins various other disastrous Hunch-a-Bunch predictions....most notably that the Boks had no chance of winning RWC07....a prediction he made only because of his deep seated hatred of Jake. What a mess this poor fellow is.

 Oh sure, that's why he tried to distance himself from his prediction on another string....he was trying to be a neck to use the old South African term......and bombed. Then he tried to pretend he wasn't serious...adding dishonesty to stupidity,

 at least he hoped the Boks could win.

 It is uncanny how many boastful braggarts find themselves eating humble pie.
We've seen it many times over. Look at you as an example. 
Redneck had a point and a good one at that. 
These hapless Boks kept the Mighty All Blacks to a 5 point difference at the break.
They stunned the Kiwi crowd with an early try and for a moment we saw a glimpse of their potential.

Moffie, if you want to settle the predictions issue, grow a pair and join one of the Superbru competitions. Currie Cup, Super Rugby, Rugby Championship, RWC . . . doesn't matter . . . I'll clean out your clock for you.
We both know you're too gutless to actually join a competition . . . you're much more comfortable squeaking about other people's predictions when they get it wrong while you prefer waiting until the game is over and then telling everyone what your prediction would have been.

My dad's brother went much the same way. He turned 82 in February and from the man I used to know, much has changed.
I saw him throw a fit because his wife took a bag of chocolates away from him. He had every intention of eating the entire bag. He has a sugar issue and so she removed the bag from him and he subsequently folded his arms, puffed up his cheeks and pouted like a 3 year old.
I sat there stunned.
Never thought I'd ever see an 82 year old man sulking. 
She was so embarrassed. 
Is this what's in store for us?

Today's not a good day for me. Took my Great Danes out for a run as I usually do and an illusive bunny they've been chasing these last few years was caught and shredded by Colossus.
