gone into administration and cancelled this weekends Premiership match against Exeter. Looks like they too will be relegated to the Championship.

Sorry to hear that Becs, but I think their move to Coventry never really worked out. Although, decent crowd in over the weekend.

Really shame as they were one of the top clubs, but when they were back in London

The move to Coventry was a disaster, it was bad enough when they went to High Wycombe. They should have stayed at their home, Sudbury on Thames. They just alienated so many of their real fans with every move and, with the move to Coventry, they could never make up the deficit of losing fans/gaining new ones. It’s an absolute mess at the moment; who knows which Club will be next ?

Sounds like some disastrous decisions were made….maybe the message is, being a rugby great doesn’t make you a business great.

The main question is to determine whether EN seizes the opportunity to reduce their domestic league in order to make room for the international stage, submitting to the will of globalists.

Or they take to sovereignty and restore the fallen clubs.

In its current configuration, the international stage is a collection of less than 10 teams.

Each team will demand three or four teams to serve as feeder clubs.

So still a long road ahead for the EN and FR leagues (FR must downsize from 30 plus professional clubs)

The salary caps were too late in England. If it had been sooner, then perhaps clubs would not be under so much financial pressure like not making a profit.
