Most impressive on the range was Cabrera, who was hitting closed down three irons about 230 yards into the breeze, never getting more than 15 feet in the air. What's odd is how fluid and natural the full shots are....in contrast to all the artificial, tortured, putting strokes.
This course which Is incredibly hard for amateurs, presented few problems to these chaps.
Big Ern is also in the field. I haven't seen him for a good 10 years and while the slow rhythm is still there, he looks a little less flexible at the top of the swing.....still a big favorite. For all you NZ chappies, Frank Nobbilo was interviewing on the range, a suave fellow, but he looks like he is enjoying his meals
