Malherbe 7 scrums...6 belly flops. And these fools have bought a casual remark from some 25 year old reporter, who isn't aware of the facts. The willingness to be sheep always amazes me. Lemmings over the cliff.

Jannie in full flight backwards in every scrum on Saturday and that is a fact. Your facts are screwed up BS.

You simply love th card - givers - no don't you.? All the rot that you supports are detrmental to the Springbok team - what a joke you are.

Yes we do need a powerfull scrummaging lock, but both Flop and Willemse are penalty machines and have real problem with discipline. How many yellow cards have Flop not received over the last two years for the boks. No thank you, Willemse is another dirty player. Look at how teams try to wind up Etzebeth and it often works. They'll do the same to Flop and Willlemse.
If Alberts was fit I would move him to 4. He did really well for the sharks there and not to mention how powerful the sharks pack was with him in the engine room. Might not have the height, but at 1.94 cm and 120 kg. Not bad for a lock.
Just put Etzebeth at 5 with Alberts at 4. We will have no problem at scrum. I would also put Juan Smit (If fit and not to emotional) at 7 behind the tighthead. Gives us that extra line out option as well as some power.

Lood a young guy is 125 kg. Willemse is 127kg. Little in it.Physical stats between Etzebeth and Lood very similarWillemse is less mobile but yes he should be tried.Lood is very good so no worries about him. Ditto Malherbe who never went backwards and showed his pedigree.
What is not being acknowledged is:The Argies were consistently scrumming in at angles. Walsh should have penalised the Argies.Once Beast, Malhebe and Strauss came on the the scrums were fine.Lood was on for 80 minutes.
Malherbe is a huge loss. However our scrum should still be fine.

Malherbe is a huge loss...sometimes I think we have had a sudden IQ drop on this Board.
Lood and Malherbe are well below RC standards

If they are so is Gurthro, Bakkies, Morne and most of the other over 30's playing club rugby. They are way above the club rugby players - especially those who are regular bench players for their clubs/
They are also better than 10 minute Alberts, 15 minute Jannie and the physically deficient Matfield.

Malherbe is better than any second choice kiwi tight head and only retallick is in the same league as lood when it comes to kiwi locks.
Both are class acts with lood being one of the best locks in the game having proved that this s15. He is better than bakkies or matfield at the same age.
There is a good reason both are playing test match rugby which says alot about your analysis of players, these 2 in particular.
I mean cilliers as your tight head the guy who got smashed by greyling yesterday

How many cards did Flippie collect over the last 8 months?
As far as I can remember a yellow in the Ellis Park test, A yellow plus a three week ban in May in Super 15. And a yellow in the second Welsh test. That plus numerous ordinary penalties shows a player with no idea about the rules of rugby.

There you go Dave you can't quite let go of Greyling. Greyling vs Malherbe would be a red letter day for you....finally one of your prop choices would win a contest.

Your recent prop selection was Cilliers - making a fool of yourself again. Cilliers was treated by Greyling - himself not a top prop - like he was cardboard in the gme yesterday - after being humiliiated a week ago as well.
Your problem is predudice ag ainst Malherbe - hence your silliness insuggesting Cilliers as a prop. It happens time and time again - when are you going to stop this type of silliness?
