I might not like how we got there or who is the in the team or how they played. This was the hardest world cup run in history. Pragmatic and dogged defence got is there.

As for rugby, I'm spent, don't think any other run or team would come close to what we witness. Gripping and intense, I know the guys fought for this.

Those 4 scrumhalves were very versatile. Faf can play flyalf, it was an eye opener to see how well he played. Williams and Rienach can play wing. Wouldn't surprise me if Williams was the fastest player in the squad. He will benefit from the experience he got.

I always thought the ABs were the fourth best team and could win against one but not two of the top three. We didn't turn up for the first 30 minutes and we deserved to lose. You guys did.
I think it is funny their criticism about the ref as the same ref made several questionable calls that helped the ABs at critical times and killed our momentum. This is big boy rugby. The ref will get it wrong and you have to adapt and deal with it in the match. If you don't, you deserve to lose. For example, the ref really screwed us in the scrum giving I think 5 penalties against us one after another, yet we had a stronger scrum and he got the wrong call in a couple of them. He didn't like how we competed, we didn't change the picture, we didn't adapt quick enough and we lost!

Up until three years ago it was all about Heineken cup (sorry Championship cup idiots), the URC was interesting for player development and ensuring we got into a good seed next year.
How it has changed since you guys have come onboard and the decline of English rugby. It is a serious competition now and I love it. The championship cup is the best of the best but there is a lot more dross games.
I am trying to save for a tour of SA but with three growing daughters it is getting harder. When I do I will definitely drop a note on the board and love to catch up.

Its mad that the 4 Heineken Cup games (Bayonne, Exeter, Toulon, Northampton) are arguably easier than the 6 URC matches (Ulster, Leinster, Leinster, Connacht, Glasgow, Stormers) with Crusaders sprinkled in for good measure.
