Compare apples to apples.
Baseball is not as physical demanding on the players as rugby is.
They rotate players during the games each season and no players take the physical pounding that is part of the game of rugby.
The salaries dished out to baseball players is insane and I would suggest that if any top pro rugby player was offered the same salaries they would perhaps make themselves available for a game or two per week.
