We have some real young sporting talent in SA

I am always amazed at the amount of top talent in sport coming through in sport in SA - who are either there already or are having the talent to be best in the world.

In rugby we have Eben Etzebeth - already recognized as the best lock forward in world rugby.   We have Willie le Roux as well.   The future looks bright with youngsters like Pieter-Steph du Toit, Frans Malherbe and Arno Botha already at the door.   Watch out for the following future stars in Tim Swiel (flyhalf and full back), Duhan van der Merwe (wing) and Jakkals Shickerling (lock) as well.   The latter two will be in the Under 20 WC team - and all 3 is already in training with the Super 15 squads of the various franchises.   

In cricket we have a new hero - Quinton de Kock - a real star already and I predict he would be one of the best cricketers ever to represent SA in cricket.

In swimming we have Chad le Clos - one of the best swimmers in the world - already an Olympic title winner and World Champion swimmer.

All the above have one thing in common - natural talent - strong personalities and work ethic beyond belief.   Watch out for them in future - they will make our country great.

Keep[= on bragging - the fall is nearer than you think.   Start of with your New Yaers wish list - but I am afraid you are going to fart against thunder next year.    

 Have to agree about Quentin, a rare talent, watched him for the first time last night, thought there was a touch about him that reminded me of Brian Lara. The foot movement, the relentless appetite to attack, the high swish of the bat and s mixture of deft touches and power. All wrapped around a twenty year old.

He is the next best thing.
