The selection of Butch at 12 is a knee-jerk reaction to one of the weaknesses I pointed out. The side are very fragile on defence and need a bit more grunt carrying it up. Butch also tempers Jantjies' very poor decision making offering a stable tactical boot outside of him and bolsters the defence considerably. All of these things are great, but for one thing.... Butch doesn't like or feel comfortable playing 12! I wonder how long it will be before we see Butch at 10. After a few more losses Mitchell will find it hard to resist.
