We lose to the worst Aussie team in recent memory

Mozart with his normal twisted BS  -  cannot believe  10% of the above drivel,

...not much between the teams except the Aussies played with more heart...from a developmental perspective not a bad result for Cheika with an experimental side but it's smart trialing new players, different combinations and configurations in between RWC's.... i,e building depth instead of just sticking with the status quo which is what SA appears to be doing and going nowhere...

..... gives ever increasing options in the absence of key players like Folau , Kerevi and Pocock - the Toomua / Hodge combo the latest revelation in a long line of centre trial and error experiments for Cheika...bringing in Samu from the Crusties another example of harnessing form players...

Despite the injuries the Aussies are demonstrating the ability to adapt and still be successful which will only help their confidence going forward...a win against SA albeit an ugly win is good but from a preparatory standpoint for the next RWC an even better result for Cheika.....

The Aussies are on track to being a competitive unit at the next RWC...a team as injury hit as they are and that can make as many mistakes as they did and still win will be right there in the mix...

We will beat them by 10 points or more in RSA

They'll probably be stronger and healthier for the return fixture. So, it's no guarantee. If Rassie doesn't get his selections right we are in trouble. No more games, no more delusional idealism. He needs to get a grip. 

There were four serious problems in the selections in the test yesterday.  Those were -

*   Mbonambi at hooker;

*   Mostert at lock;

*   Whiteley at no 8; and 

*   Jantjies at flyhalf.

One can only hope that De Jager is fit asap and that there is a serious adjustment in the squad insofar as the loosies are concerned - Louw is a no-no and so is Whiteley.   As to the flyhalfs I would pick Willemse all the time ahead of Jantjies.    If a third flyhalf is required I would rather have Goosen in the squad ahead of Jantjies.

As to Mbonambi I would rather have Akker as back-up hooker.    

Any other changes would cause the team to go backwards.  

Trouble is the %'s Oom Mike.

Everybody knows Akkers should be there but drop Mbonambi and you have to drop a deserving white guy somewhere else. Same goes for Jantjies, Papier and The Beast.

Do you want Mahoje or Marvin Orie starting?

It's a balancing act that Rassie is struggling with.

Who called the Lineout yesterday. That overthrow from Mbonambi was a set move for Kolisi to run onto.

Indeed ... and Bongi, our best line out thrower, according to some on here, missed his target by some way.

The result ... an easy 7 pointer to the injury riddled Ozzies ... as a result of ... TWO unmerited quotas ... who had no business wearing the green and gold.

So yes, Xavi ...  I too would much prefer Akker in the mix, as everything is won or lost upfront. Don't you know that?

Besides, there is no real difference between Kolisi and Mohoje anyway. Our back-row is totally ineffective as it is, so an additional quota there wouldn't matter in the end.

Oh and another thing ... Rassie is in favour of transforming the Boks. He's fully committed to the cause. Haven't you heard?

So, no ... he isn't struggling with anything regarding race based selection. It's what he wants.

I think Mostert called the line-outs,   In that bad line-out leading to the try Mostert and Etzebeth was in the line-out Du Toit was wider out than Kolisi.   It was BS anyway. 

I am sure that even the highly confused Rassie will opt for the rightful owner of the 5 jersey ... once De Jager recovers from his injuries that is.

I do however doubt that we'll see much of an improvement in our back-row.

Kriel, Wiese, Vermeulen ... will never happen.

There is no quota policy, only a tale to try to divert from the poverty of SA rugby.

That was a game between two countries playing loser rugby. Winning that type of game means nothing, especially not that the winner plays winner rugby.

AU rugby is still in the same loser rugby brand.

SA rugby never were a powerhouse, the WC victories were gifted  in order to help SA rugby to develop a localized rugby, which is failed.

Terminate rugby in SA. Keeping to go is pointless and harmful.

But this team is no better than Coetzee's team......worse in fact.

It is better because the previous coach was a quota coach. This one is not, so one step closer to enligthment and revelation.
