Just like I predicted and have said all along. Our midfield was the reason we lost.Tevita Kurindrani and Matt Temoa were miles ahead then our combination of Jean and Jan(ironic,JJ) were no answer. They broke through the lines and slaughtered our weak defense and aging Jean...Jan was proven today that he lacks charisma big time and a bit of swagger. He barely made it through with his reputation in tact.If anything Nonu must be hoping that small man Serfontein dares to square up with him and Smith. We need a tactical skilled out side centre,END OFF.We need some young some one fast some one that can attack at a moments notice....What about Mvovo.I mean he was partly successfully converted from wing to fullback and he has a step and flair. It would be a surprize attack and a surprize is what you need to beat the best in the world, who seemingly look unstoppable. If any of you have mad delusions of beating the All-Blacks next weekend then I say boohoo, not happening. But Meyer our ever conservative coach will not take that gamble. If he does gamble it is only most likely to be monopoly at Christmas with family.Upfront we need Nyakane to take over from Jannie and he needs to walk of in to the sunset.Matfield was remarkably in fine form today, but he wont carry it for long. And if Reinach is selected, then bloody let him play. Then we lack a certain cheddar in this team....lol Passion...pure bloody passion.Lastly, that yellow card for Habana was the most farcical of all yellow cards.Saying that Bismarcks yellow against NZL is equal to this one.Utter ridiculous.

What utter tripe. Serfontein was huge in defence and got no opportunities with ball in hand thanks to Morne and Pienaar kicking away most of our hard earnt posses sion.

You specialize in tripe.  We lost at half back and in the Tight 5.   There was nothing wroong with the defense of Serfointein  - Jean missed one tackle during the whole game.

What precisely were the tactics ? I was wondering in the first few minutes because it seemed to me no-one had a flaming clue apart from dashing hither and thither and hoping for the best. As I said, have any of you played British Bulldog ? !
This really should be a massive wake up call. Something is rotten in the State of Springbok, to paraphrase my old mate Shakespeare

Voetsek ou FA has no clue re the centers. Jan was magnificent on defence.
FA go and look at the Rugby 365 rating of Bok players. Agree re the farcical ref. See Mike's post re player ratings then a post by Just Win.

As I've said all along, Serfontein is the best defensive midfielder we have. He also played at 13 which is foreign as he's an out and out 12.

We don't only need defence we need attack, which we had zero of...other wise the score would have been 48-24.But its not.We lost this game in the midfield.End off.Watch against Nzl'nd...what happens.

FA you really have no idea do you - how the hell are the midfield meant to create if they get no ball. Are you that incapable of seeing the obvious?
What part of the 9 and 10 kicking away most of our ball did you miss?

Wrong it has nothing to do with leadership and everything to poor team selection and tactics.
Jean actu ally impresses me as a leader

I have been saying that the players and tactics are wrong.
But I also think the leadership is poor on field. On that we won't agree, Voetsek

 Who mentioned Robshaw ? !
Crikey ! That's it, I am going to stick up for Robshaw and say that he would be doing a better job than that and, you just said anyway that JDV shouldn't be in the team ! So his Captaincy obviously is over in your eyes, isn't it ? You want new Centres. So you need a new Captain. Perhaps you can have Chris Robshaw ! Given the way the IRB is letting everyone chop and change nationality these days, it isn't so flaming far fetched a prospect as one might think !

We are not talking about his centre play we are talking leadership and your take on his leadership is utter nonsense. He is a good leader, but like Robshaw should not be in the side

Oh stop speaking utter garbage leadership can't win you a game when you don't have the right players and the team is under instruction to play in a certain way.
Your comment is just plain stupid

Well that is just plain rude
You are starting to remind me of someone I know....who does nothing but abuse me

Yeah, you can ignore instruction. Because you are a human, not an automaton. A good Captain, like Martin Johnson, ignored Woodward, didn't he ? When he thought his tactics were wrong ? So he overruled him and played his own way. The team followed the leader
That's what happens when you have a good Captain. The team follows them come what may....

More utter garbage for a start I did not rate Johnson as a player or leader and secondly if a captained ignored the instructions of his coach, he would not be the captain the following game and nor would he be in the side.
Johnson ignoring Woodward is just rubbish.

VOETSEK(what a name to call yourself, there once was a bloke here called fokjou....are you related lol) Anyway,I did notice them kicking the ball away Voetsek, but that is irrelevant as at super rugby levels 12 and 13 were both ineffective.Jean is way past it now and Jan lets just say that he is a boy wonder from an under twenties team but he will go down in history like Wynand Olivier most likely. The true No:12 is ROBERT EBERSOHN.But even with Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan playing in our midfield(which might be a massive improvement)Nonu and Smith together with Fekitoa are miles ahead in the skills arena then these bloke.A young JDV and JF could barely at their peak cope with the All-Black onslaught in their backs. We need to SHIFT our focus from the forwards orientated game plan that we have with box kicks and up-and-under kick chases to running rugby.I mean what was the point of selecting Willy then...to utilise his running capabilities but look even he was kicking....We need a mental shift. And Ricardo Loubsher is a piece of horse manure. He couldn't coach an under 10 sides backline. Its rubbish!!!!!!Morné can pass every ball and still these Carthorses will fail....big time. For evidence, watch when on Saturday with all do respect Nzl'and score six tries against us.And I lo e the Bokke and my country but the cards are on the table.Deny it all you want. And Becs is right a leadership gap the size of the grand canyon is opening up n this team. The who's who of captains is in that lineup...Matfield,Strauss and JdV...who is in charge here???Meyer has big big problems.

Ebersohn give me a break he completely disappeared in the months leading to his departure and like de Jongh was never physical enough for a test centre - not even close.
Serfontein has already proved he has the skill set to go down as one of our best 12 ' s ever.
He just needs to be afforded the freedom to express his talents. That is never going to happen at the Bulls or under Meyer

80+ min on the field and more then one test cap but he needs FREEDOM to express himself...What!?!?!?So the Bokke is now on a new age quest in the seach for the meaning of life or is this a ballet school...If hes that good, then Meyer needs to grab him by the kahunas and squeeze till it bleeds shouting at the top of his lungs...Haal jou f&%ckn finger uit boeta!!!!!!!Vinnig!!!!!Let me tell you yeah, here in the army,we have a saying, get fit fight easy unfit fight hard.Mentally fit, emotionally fit and physical.M.a.w...hy moet vinnig Groot word Dan as hy so goes is soos wat Jy sê.Fekitoa came on the pitch against Oz and nearly crossed the try line....That was only in a space of fi e minutes.Beale comes on and guts our defense like a fish...AKA Rob Hornes try.
