We may be bright on the issue of Rugby - but we are poor in financial evaluation

Since Gordahn was called back from London on Monday last week the share price of the Gupta owned Oakbay went up by 28%.   What a bloody scandal we have here.  And the country was down-graded S&P to junk status today.   The Government issued a bond to the amount of R600 million on Friday and there was only R200 million taken up.  
Can things  become any worse?  

Yes.....keeping watching and learning.
South Africa is going the same way Rhodesia went...down, down ever faster.
But then it is not the first country in Africa to go belly up.
It has happened over and over.
Eventually, the ANC will be thrown out and civil war will erupt.

Hope some of you Saffas have investments overseas...yes without being an alarmist but things could become frightening...I looked at my collective investments portfolio and they seem to be ok...I have speculated against the rand but I'm concerned about SA Equities and are still sitting with too much...need to switch today and go for global feeder funds...ie Allan Gray Orbis Equity FF looks a consideration or maybe Foord.

 Yes, things can get worse easily: keeping to cling to rugby in this situation is making things worse.

 Yes Trad, and clinging to a racist, proven failure ideology is even more stupid. At least rugby generates resources to be exploited...no freebies from the taxpayer required.

 Indeed, certain things are hard to reverse, if not impossible. That is how you end burdened with an eternal charge.
Excellent men have nothing of those concerns, they claim to be able to reverse anything.
This gives stuff like SA where the racist stuff is hard to reverse.

Rugby generates nothing except a drain on resources.
