After all the criticisms regarding the Stormers lack of attacking prowess it looks likely we will not be seeing an all out attacking game by the Stormers. This however is not due to Allistar Coetzee's supposed stubbornes in saying that they will not change their style of play, but rather due to the conditions on the night. Its been raining here in Melbourne the past few days with no sign of letting up so expect it to rain at some point at AAMI park on friday night makng things a bit slippery for both teams. Stormers fans should not expect to see an all out running feast when the Stormers take on the Rebels, and for good reason.

The conditions are likely to not be condusive to a running game amd as such the Stormers should play the territory game and use their forwrards to grind the Rebels down and get the victory they sorely need. I for one hope to see them dominate the contact, setup lineouts and driving mauls, and take the points when on offer. I believe this would be the best way to get the result they want this friday given the possibilty of it being a wet affair in Melbourne

Echo more often than not games played in wet conditions become a forward battle.

Allistair has selected the smallest possible pack he can and the smallest backline. So lets see how it pans out. I have to admit this one is in doubt.
