that is very light for someone who is 6 foot 6. Maybe he should be playing at number 7 instead of Steph Dutoit. Surely he is the lightest lock to play for South Africa- at least in the professional era

 I was all for including Lions before the 2nd test, because I thought they would help the team aspect and because  we have to clear the air early. Having seen the subs and the few Lions starters I think  Combrink and Whiteley turned the game...Faf was solid throughout. Jantjies was average at best. To me Redlinghuis looked in trouble against Jack McGrath better against the sub.....and really there wasn't enough time for Mostert to do much unless you count him pushing behind Stephanie for the try.
It's hard to imagine Mostert is a better prospect than Snyman.

Snyman does look very impressive impressive. Seems to never have a bad game and always finds himself in the right place at the right time. I hope Akkerman gets him in when Mostert goes to France. Though if Mostert features regularly for the Boks this year I wonder if he'll stay committed to crossing the pond.

As with Matfield, when playing wee monster the number 7 has to be bigger. 
Mostert contributes at the ruck big time in clearing and protection. 
Is Mostert still going overseas? Hopefully, that has now been cancelled. I thought I heard last season he was moving overseas.

 Mosterdt is too small for a regular lock, if ee persist with him, the back row should be way bigger.
