Well done to the Stormers. The influence of the New Zealand skills coach was evident for all to see. Smaller players are thriving with a more expansive game like Dillon Leyds and Kolbe. 
The Chiefs are certainly looking good, and were extremely competitive for the whole match- but it is early days in the tournament.The Stormers will need to tour New Zealand- before they can get a more reliable indicator of performance- but it is looking solid so far. 
Certainly, the favourites of an SA team to do well. The also have Delande and Hu Jones returning from injury. When Dan Kriel played- it looked like the Stormers were reverting to a donkey game plan, but apparently not. 

 A nerve-wrecker, but the Stormers did win this one.   The defense in general was sound - the aimless kicking was not really in evidence in the second half - so counterattacking was more difficult.      

 Great game, congrats to the stormers. The Chiefs played well with some fantastic tries but so did the stormers. Good for rugby.

 It was a hard game and got harder for the Chiefs in the second half.   In the first half the Chiefs benefitted from especially two aimless kicks allowing for counter-attacking leading to two tries.   

 I was playing tennis JW as I indicated. No FAKE news please . Hahahahahahhahaha
What a ridiculous yellow agai nst the Stormers. Allowed the Chiefs to score!
