Jake Whites Sharks still in 1st position despite their 1st loss of the season.
Jake White's Brumbies in 2nd, playing to his game plan of winning the territorial battle and strong defense.
The Chiefs, by far New Zealand' s best team and perhaps their only contender for the title, also stumbled with the Sharks. Actually a bigger upset than the Sharks loss.
The next few weeks are going to be critical for the tournament.
The Sharks vs Chiefs and the Sharks vs Warratahs, see the 3 form teams meeting head to head.
Perhaps a bit fortuitous for the Sharks to be playing them both at home but that is how this format rolls.
The Lions have been the surprise package of the tournament and could maybe sneek into the finals. The Bulls are still contenders, and if they can get some wins on tour, they can pick up a roll at the end of the tournament.
The Cheetas have been a disaster on defense and at ruck play, but their attack has been great. They need to get last years defence coach back asap. On the positive side their tour is now over, and they should be able to regroup. Brussouw has been missed, is he still in Japan?
The Stormers are just a disaster with no game plan. They are 15 individuals with no structure or idea what the other player is going to do next. Coetzee and Fleck need to be fired with immediate effect. In their defence they have had the hardest tour out of any team in the tournament in a long time.
Playing the Chiefs and Crusaders at home, and the 2nd ranked Brumbies is one hell of a tour, and things can only get easier for them.

Sharkbok Sharkies playing the warratahs before a bye i think....folau is out rested next week also so the Sharkies dream run looks to continue...Chiefs don't get to play the Sharks or the Reds in round robin at all...we're playing the Bulls and the Cheetahs on tour in the next two rounds so you will be able to cheer us on my friend haha..

oh, I thought the Chiefs play the Sharks, but not so.
It should be a difficult game for the Chiefs at Loftus, maybe the hardest of their season.
The Cheetas could be a potential bananna piel for the Chiefs, although I think they will have enough firepower in attack to knock the Cheetas over.
