I don't get all the people surprised by the Canes. I looked at that squad, new last minute coach and playing in SA. I picked the stormers  in Total rankers as I thought it was a easy 3 points.

In the Kiwi conference its a 2 horse race with the Crusaders and Chiefs with the Blues  being the dark horse and might squeak into 3rd. Canes and highlanders to finish well down the log

The Stormers victory wasn't that surprising, but the way the Canes melted was. Even the poorest NZ teams normally put up a fight. The Stormers were a bit lucky at times, but they also threw away scoring opportunities...let's see how things progresses.  Hopeful a more interesting season ahead.

CF

How do you rate the Highlanders comparative to the Hurricanes this year?

Highlanders to finish last, they have lost to much experience I feel.
