He was brilliant in his day. Probably the best putter I've ever seen.
I don't think he'll be competitive though. People tend to follow those that can dazzle them with their brilliance.
Tiger Woods no longer has what it takes to draw massif crowds. He's now on par with the likes of Ernie.

Well he shot a pretty smooth 65 today. A competitive Tiger Woods will raise TV viewing significantly, he is a polarizing figure, which tends to create interest. And he was the most dominating golfer ever at his best. Don't underrate the importance of his return for the slumping game of golf.
And for those who think he is an ego maniac, try having dinner withJack Nicklaus.
