 They even deserve it after having so-called fans shine laser pens into the eyes of the opposition goal kickers ? When they are lining up what is potentially a winning kick ? Appalling Reffing, yet again, from Owens and disgusting behaviour from their supporters.

I just watched the highlights and the feeling I got from that was that Aus got a pretty raw deal on some of those decisions. Funny how Owens hands out three yellow cards this week after handing out none last week. Hooper's yellow was farcical and Kuridrani's disallowed try looked good. The lasers were disgraceful and leaves a bad taste in the mouth about the whole thing.

 All true Pakie but still Oz should have been good enough to get up and were not. Kurindranis try was a bit hard to fathom. After Owens reviewed and said no try a view came up that appeared to show the ball grounded over the line. But like I said we still should have been good enough.

Moz this was a RAW. Oz were shafted just like they shafted us.
I would be the first to applaud if they won fair and square but this ab style win leaves a bad taste in the mouth. 
If a laser shines like that the penalty conversion should simply be given regardless. CCTV could be used to nail these yobbos. Disgusting stuff and probably a small hooligan element like we get at Newlands and which my unwise friend brycy latched onto.

Owens was terrible and so were the Bargie fans....a well deserved win?...I think not!  

 Sympathies to Ozzies. I do note some kbbs like ou brycy were gloating about Oz loosing. Up your game brycy!! 

A thrilling result hampered by the laser beaming which put a huge damper on the result...really bad and it's not the fault of Pumas players...something I'm sure spoilt it for them...nobody in a side glories in a contaminated win. We'll never know if it would have gone over that's the real sting but something like this must be taken seriously by the authorities...such interference in an important championship is bad enough but in a world cup game would be the most serious thing.

Steps must be taken to counteract this, security should have a system in place to successfully catch these culprits...really difficult when 90% of the supporters are on the side of the offender but in world cup games when there is a mixture of support, the public should come to the front and help arrest these undesirables that bring the game into disrepute...Beeno suggested CCTV surveillance which is a step in the right direction but I also see this as a public responsibility and witnesses must come forward. They must be caught and face heavy fines, imprisonment if necessary and certainly barred from all rugby games in the future.

Nevertheless well done Pumas in all your games...I hope we'll see making inroads in the world cup and next years Championship.

Couldn't imagine somebody doing this in mixed support, the kangaroo justice will tear them to pieces.

Disgraceful how this is still done in today's world, however I would like to get comments on the following.Why did Foley not refuse to take the kick or abort the kick and request that the TMO review the footage or at least bring it to that shocking ref's attention, not so they could identify the culprit but rather deter him or her reoffending. I suppose it's easier in hindsight!

MonsterBok you're right...there should be a doc u mented procedure in rugby rules/law for this. The offended kicker should draw the attention of the ref on this and not go through with the kick. The game will be interupted but fortunately although this has happened before, it is a relatively rare occurence, all efforts and intention should now focus on security and it's tools to apprehend the culprit and the public should be called upon to assist together with security personel...if CCTV can catch the Boston bombers, surely this would be easier...extra attention would be called upon during penalty and conversion kicks.

To merely award the penalty if the kick is carried out and missed is penalising and unfair to the opposing side and could be abused. Every kicker would in this instance have 2 shots at goal which is unfair to the penalised side...ie one and a interfered kick is certainly better than one...there has even been some kickers that say it doesn't faze them but this too is unacceptable because what might not effect one kicker might well effect another.

An interruption of this nature must have correct procedures in place to stamp this out otherwise we will see more of it.
