Not to rub salt in the wound, you did say the Boks scrum is poor on numerous occasions.
I conceded at the time that the Northern Hemishpere typically outscrum the Southern Hemishpere.
Although the new rules seem to favour the big bok pack.
Power and weight is dominating technique. Technique was more subjective under the old rules, more like trickery from the likes of Al Baxter.
Will be interesting to see how the Boks scrum does in the Northern Hemishpere at the end of the year.
That will be the true test to see how good the boks scrum is.
Sharkbok: my thoughts exactly mate, i.e. Bok v NH scrums will be a sight to behold. Maybe the Bok will shut the loud mouth cheast thumping poms.
As far as the total game goes, the scrum is only on part of the game but it is a part I will enjoy seeing in the Bok NH tour.
