The Lions were marginally the better team in the 3rd test, but the Bok defense held tight, and the Boks did enough in the 2nd half to close the Lions out.

Overall, the Lions were better in the first test, and the Boks better in the second, with the Lions marginally better in the 3rd test.

The Bok umbrella defense seems to be the difference.
Boks need to work on their attack because when the opposition is competitive on the high ball, it does not all go the Bok's way.

The Lions were totally dominant 70/30% in the 1st half. Liam Williams could have passed to Adams for a certain try, and the Lions could have had their tails up.

All three matches were lost in the second halves....Lions were great in the first half, but we came back more than just well....we did the business.

You can see the Boks are playing for each other.

The numbers show that the Lions should have won the game:

63% of possession

63% of territory

234 vs 186 metres gained

6 clean breaks to 2 by the Boks

28 defenders beaten to 10

8 offloads to 4.

The Lions lost  by not converting their chances and persisting with short high up and unders. And as in the WC, because they just can’t scrum

But without Morne, all might have been lost.

The second half of the second test says it all.

Defence can and does win matches.

As do a sc rums and mauls.

Love it.

I see some fake Bok supporters are not happy.

I am waiting for this Bok side to get hit their straps.

I think the Boks will play their two matches each against Wobbkies and wee abs away so the dice is loaded against the Boks.

Any loses will be jubilantly received by fakers here.

Until Rassie goes that is what we will get from Mozzzz and the Org. Severely embarrassed they hope things go wrong down under.

"The numbers show that the Lions should have won the game:"

No, the numbers that actually count shows that the Boks actually won the match.

Yes they are as mad as snakes, seething away.

Whahahahaha.

I hope Mike rises to the occasion. Rooitwit is engaging with a cheap red whine to drown his sorrows as is Alun W ine Jones.

Yes Dr Mozzz has for some weird reason stopped going on about Rassie's win record.

There’s a simple explanation. Rassie’s win record ended after the WC….it’s Nienaber’s record now.

Plastics don't have analytical skills, as seen above, and are too emotional and irrational for honesty. The Boks were dominated and outclassed. An uncalled knock on saved the series.

I've watched that Wiese fumble numerous times now and I still can't see any clear indication that the ball went forward off him. Bounces off his hand (or possibly Duhan's hand) backwards onto his shoulder (knock-on can only be called off a hand or arm, not so?) and then straight into the air.
