Well Done Dyanti- World Breakthrough Player of the Year award
I think the gameplan necessitated that the wings rush up. We had that from 14 as well. It didn't really work. Dyantyi is a smart player. A hard worker. Our hardest working wing. We must create more opportunities for him. We have the largest glut of finishers in my lifetime, we must make it count.
Now all he needs to do is learn how to catch the high ball, soon after he must learn how to defend.
Still deeply flawed, but a good finisher. As Denny says though, he'll need to get himself competitive under the high ball, otherwise he'll struggle for parity in every game and remain a soft target for the opposition to attack. Well done to him though.
Yes ... he is a talent man ... but we do have the tendency to celebrate mediocrity these days.
He has a lot to work on ... and I hope he does ... because most professional outfits will see his weaknesses and exploit them.
WTF ... !!
S ite glitches, its happened to all of us at some point.
What a tragic loss... Maybe he will make it back for the next world cup, but not playing the game he is sure to lose his edge.
"That hit on the English player taking an up and under…those are steroid vibes."
Christ some people can talk crap.
Hope he makes a comeback. I really liked him. Though Mapimpi, Cheslin and Nkosi are all fantastic wingers.

Beast of a hit!
"Plum you are speaking utter horse shit
He did appeal the ban and did make a statement"
Didn't know. Kept up with it at the time but I see there have been developments since.
Who the hell shares a water bottle at the gym!!!???
" Dyantyi, 26, tested positive for metandienone, methyltestosterone and LGD-4033 while in camp with the Springboks last July and pleaded guilty to a doping charge, though he insisted he unknowingly ingested the substances while drinking from a friend's water bottle at the gym."
Must admit that he was an explosive player and a delight to watch in the Green and Gold jersey.
But drugs infect every day life for many unfortunately.
Sad in his case I will admit.
Trust that he will not give up but remain fit and who knows what the future holds for him with respect to rugby.
Their is always a light at the end of the tunnel the challenge is to stay ahead of the locomotive.
If major crime folks can be forgiven and offered a second chance perhaps he will be afforded the same opening.
Good luck Dyanti.
Having 3 different drugs in his system is pretty damming. Even if by some remote chance it was a result of his "friends" water bottle, where is this person? Surely he should have given a statement at the time that it was his fault.
It was a shock as he did not seem like the type of person that was a cheat, unlike Steroid Boy Rapelle.
He was pretty much my favourite Bok since Habana, at one stage even more lethal on attack than Kolbe.

He could have picked up the bottle and drank from it accidentally, thinking it was his own...Ben Johnson 89 Olympics?..or allegedly?..not all these roids are forbidden substances for the general public...some asthma meds can be illegal for sportsmen...lots of mitigating factors can get lost in the hype of a good scandal...
Plum, I don't know how these things work, but it won't be easy to prove innocence after testing possititive...he'll have to have a real credible excuse and some sort of evidence to back it up...fighting it will be expensive, and to do that if you know you're guilty...
