now that was fun....the popularization of a once dormant site allbeit by a motley mob. It's quite strange what lengths some folks will go to, to gain attention, that said I was pleased with the way we kicked their sorry and bitter asses and sent them on their not so merry way. There appears to be a fixation with this site, I fear boredom has manifested itself down yonder  just as I predicted it would. Truth be told, read my lips....we don't miss you, we don't visit you...you visit us....period. Our care factor reading sits at a fat zero.

Now that's all done and dusted shall we get back to the real reason of why we're here and that is to discuss Rugby?....and for me to get back to some proactive recruiting.

On the matter of rugby, I heard that Peter had nobody sit down with him to discuss his future. Granted he was always going to be replaced. I thought it was a tad unsavory the manner in which they handled the whole thing. They had since last June to talk to him. That kind of mentality in SARU is what frustrates me. They have no right to get so angry about Peter's gaffs. They hired him! They did so knowing he wasn't the best man for the job. What did they honestly expect? To cast him aside like that was just plain ignorant.

That's not entirely correct, Piet himself said that he had had a meeting with Jurie Roux recently and that  it was made clear to him that he wasn't on the most wanted list. Mate, get real, what do you expect from SARU......they are proven plodders. They won't get any credit from me for appointing Meyer, once again they treated him with disrespect, after copping knockbcks from Smal and Mitchell they had no choice and  turned to him on the rebound. As for Pietie, I have no sympathy or empathy, he's still walking around as if he did a wonderful job, and I, like many a Bok fan is walking around with a 4 year old scar.

@Denny, I am afraid but you are the one who is not quite correct. I cannot remember where I read it, but PDV and Jurie Roux had a quick meeting, and he (PDV) was not sure what was going to happen. That to me sounds as though they did not make anything clear to him. That they are a bunch of plodders is beyond any doubt, but this is typical of us South Africans. We want people booted out of their jobs, jailed, etc, etc, etc, and when it eventually happens we want to feel sorry for them. With PDV............... se moer. He was crap, he was a quota appointment, and that is it. He was not stabbed in the back any more than what Jake White was, and with him, he got what he deserved.

I promised myself that I'm not going to waste anymore of my time talking about someone who not only embarrassed  his sport but also the national team and the country.  SARU chose the dope, he didn't choose himself. Lets give it a miss and rejoice that sanity has reclaimed the throne. Hallellujah!
