Just wonder what the Proteas are going to do next against the one man band. What a pathetic performance......will the powers that be, be brave enough to make the necessary changes......I suspect not.......we have the boring flat PE track next

After listening to Smith in his post match interviews it's clear to me that there'll be no changes. I'm starting to think that his number is up as well. Oh well, it can't get any worse than what it is if the dumbos can't or will not accept that to front with the same

will render the same results.

Truth be told with exception of Mitch the Ozzies are an average side if that makes us all feel any better.

To be honest, I feared for some of those guys. McLaren got struck a fearsome blow. Some of the players were not up to it, it wasn't exactly Piers Morgan, but it was head hunting. It was disappointing to see Mitch go right back to attacking McLaren's head.

I found the graphic showing speed out of the hand....Morkel vs Johnson quite interesting. To all intents, there was no diff. But because MJ bowls with a shallower angle, the ball arrives faster at the bat. All of which suggests that Morkel should pitch it up more and rely on the height of release to duplicate the Johnson head high ball.

But we need to strengthen the batting if alternatives exist.

No, the fact that, as I discussed with my Australian Cousin this Summer, England were nowhere near as good as they thought they were and were on the wain and we discussed since that time that Australia are nowhere near as good as they think they are, does not make things better at all. In fact, it makes things worse as they have humiliated England at points during the Ashes and One Day Series and really made SA look very poor during this Test.
To be made to look that bad against an ordinary side is no consolation as all ! It is far worse than being beaten by a great team.

Don't let it happen again, SA
