Still didn't match up to the NZ vs Lions series but nerves are nerves and they don't care about the aesthetics of the scare.

I went the entire game thinking we were gonna lose.

Well done to our overqualified water boy , yet again.

We can squabble all we want but the guy has delivered. That's all I care about because that's the objective.

Let's hope Mostert's efforts don't go unnoticed. As I've been saying for years now...the guy is a balls to the wall warrior. The definition of heart.

Luckily we have Jantjies because Reinach doesn't quite cut it for me. He's probably better on the wing even though he's lost a yard or two.

Ou Chessie...nothing more to say about this guy. An inspiration.

Over all, Rassie has put a great squad together and managed to get a scrappy but winning team out of them. Taking into account how little Boks played during Covid, this disjointed win is probably worth a lot more, all things being equal.

Can we be happy winners?

A very disappointing series that was spoiled by Rassie's tearful ref-bashing fiasco that led to unnecessary delays and refs having to walk on eggshells every time the Boks infringed.

Both sides played dour, percentage kicking rugby which also ruined the series as a spectacle.

Can't believe I spent 12 years waiting for this tainted snorefest with any kind of anticipation.

Applauding Josè and Crutch is missing the point. Some bad selections and the quality of rugby is appalling. A missed opportunity for the Lions more than anything.

The B&L scored 2 tries both via rolling mauls over a 3 test series, still they looked the better side in the last test. A forgive in the first, a much better effort in the second but the third was a dour game only remembered by the individual brilliance of a single player. Overall it was basic and boring rugby. How else can the series be remembered?

The best rugby of the series was played in the third test, and it was pretty much all Lions. The worst quality test was the second. It was essentially a cripple fight under the high ball.
