Defense is nowhere in these games….there will have to be a sea change before the WC

Brilliant pass by Smith unlocks the Stormers. But Quins too anxious, too many mistakes.

Followed by a superb chip…not too hard as many are….Esterhozen gallops over.

I couldn’t get reception in the first half…. How did Wilco do against Kitshoff?

Wilco pushed Kitshoff back a couple of times and was dominant….Worrying to see is that Kitshoff is dropping in intensity and Strength on the field.

Thanks M, I wonder if Wilco will be considered this year.

I surely hope so Moz…Wilco has learned a lot overseas and he is a Formidable tighthead….in the past his mobility was not so good but he is much better now…and strong as a ox….Malherbe is still solid but I would take Wilco in Koch,s place….Formidable pack would be Ox, Marx and Wilco : )

I watched the game and it further proof that Esterhuizen is NOT an international  - the fitrsdt handle of a ball went two meters over the gain line -got tacklred and hung unto the ball giving away a penalty.    I think that anybody can score a try with no defenders near to him - but to gret aa ball with another open try-line in front of him and knocking on the ball.   0

So if you get 2 metres over the gain line and get called for holding, you aren’t an international talent?

Knocking on a ball with an open tryline in front of him is one point - his substandard defense and  poor bal carrying abilities are two other issues  as well.   An extremely limited player who cannot perform on levels higher than club level.

But at club level he has been a star performer…..a bit strange hmm.

He was not up to standard in 2018 and 2019 when tried out in tests - that being the reason for his omission from the 2019 WC squad.    Nothing changed from then to no w.

Not up go standard and one metre a carry, no offloads, lowest try rate of any long serving Bok centre Dud Allende is up to standard?  Give me a break.

We have a standard BS allegation from Mozart about De Allende and that will never change.

Okay let’s take Dud’s  tries ..  9 tries in 70 tests. After 70 tests Jean had scored 19 tries. It took Jean 11 tests to score 9 tries, not the 70 Dud needed.

Have we ever seen Dud run in a test try from more than 25 metres? Maybe, but I sure can’t remember one.

Mozart

Youa admitted yourself that you never saw anything positive done by De Allende and when something factual did happen you desperately try to ignore it by finding excuses.   A typical example was the try eh scored in the semi in 2019 against Wales.

You talk about a club/franchise game yesterday - but Esterhuizen played in 11 tests for the Springboks and never came near to scoring any tries.    De Allende scored many tries playing for the Stormers anytime better than the one scored yesterday by Esterhuizen.  So try your BS elsewhere.

Wilco did not dominate Kitshoff that is utter rubbish, if anything the Stormers had the slight edge in the scrums but there was nothing in it really Libbok was huge, his passing created space Esterhuizen was good, got plenty of go forward and drew in plenty of defenders

Well I watched that game and saw Kitshoff being pushed back at least twice by Wilco…Kitshoff was not able to put any severe pressure on Wilco or push him back…does not mean Kitshoff is bad just means that Wilco has showed enough to warrant his inclusion in the Springbok squad.

That is utter rubbish - reference the 2 scrums you are talking about It simply did not happen Wilco should never have been out of the Bok squad, he is a quality tighthead
