It is amazing - yesterday morning Esko announced grade 2 load shedding. 4 hours later they moved to Grade 4 load shedding claiming that a further 6 power stations broke down Amongst the six were Medupi - the newly built power station not fully operational as yet, The operational units at that station broke down.
Originally there were 7 power stations not working on Sunday. By Monday the productivity was down by near to 50% of normal electricity production.
Last Thursday Ramaphosa announced a restructuring of Eskom and the Union s immediately shouted they would not permit it to happen - they would go on strike. Funny how within 3 days the power stations started collapsing. Was it sabotage or what?
In any event the bastards should be in jail anyway.
