He renamed his Avatar to General Tit.Then he lost his login.
Then he signed up with a new login Avatar that had less than 5 comments. Then he was voted off the board.
What was surprising is that he had more than 5 comments, but still was voted off the board none the less.

He didn't just disappear, he announced his departure in his usual attention-seeking manner and then came back as General Tit before yet another in dignant and widely publicised flounce. Then  - after he realised no-one really gave a flying toss that he was gone - he tried to come back under some other name I can't recall and got 5 votes against him from people who realised it was the same bible-bashing and rugby-ignorant bore.
My guess is he's such a sad and lifeless loser that he's still reading posts on this forum and is probably getting so red-faced and angry reading this post that he might actually respond.
As someone qute rightly pointed out (I think it was Sharkbok), all he had to do was carry on posting under the "sebastianchabal" login instead of getting all self-righteous and tearful about the "GeneralTit" handle that everyone saw through and rejected or whatever other name he tried to slink back on.
A self-inflicted yet merciful departure from this forum.

Did he even try and defend himself with the name change ? Seems like a bit of a coward.

I liked Seb a lot and miss both he and Justwin.   Seb had culture and a wonderful love for his Russian wife and her family,   He really is a wonderful person and which he would come back - there is a lot missing on site without him.

The same with Justwin - I always find the NZ members inputs enlightening and interesting and has constantly admonished members who ahs overstepped the mark when dealing with opposing views,   Cloudy remains a classic and I dearly like her inputs.

Wish Seb and JW comes back - we need  members like them.   Incidentally I recently came across an interesting issue as to the Russian History.   The Empress Elizabeth - who was responsible for construction of the famous Winter Palace (now called the Hermitage) in St Petersburg - wanted to leave the throne of Russia to her German nephew Duke Peter of Holstein-Gottorp so she had him brought to St Petersburg  to be educated.   She arranged his  marriage  with Princess Sophie Friederike Auguste von Anhalt-Zerbst-Dornburg.   She changed her name to Catherine who changed her religion to Russian Orthodox and became fluent in Russian spoken with a slight German accent..

The problem was that Peter was impotent and needed a circumcision to get him to have sex and the bugger refused to have an operation,   After seven years the marriage remained unconsummated and the Empress became desperate for an heir,  The Empress then basically instructed a Russian by the name of Saltykov to make sure that he has sex with  Catherine and make sure she got pregnant.   When the latter indeed got pregnant - the Empress Elizabeth  threatened Saltykov to get a circumcision done on Duke Peter or  face punishment.   The latter then had a vodka drinking  binge with the Grand Duke Peter and when the latter passed out - the doctor came in and did the op on him.

When the Empress Elizabeth died  9 years later - the Grand Duke Peter became Tzar Peter the Third,   However, Catherine had a love affair with a army officer Count Orlov and six months after Peter became Tzar the army helped in getting Peter deposed and they put Catherine on the throne.  Peter was imprisoned and without the new Empress Catherine knowing  about it he was murdered by Orlov and his brothers,

Needless to say Saltykov got a new Princely title, an estate and a thousand Serfs for services rendered to the State - Orlov was richly rewarded by Catherine, but banished when he caused an attack on Catherine's later favourite Potemkin -- whom it is alleged she married in secret - and the illegitimate son she had with Orlov was named a Count Bobrinsky - whose son became famous for building the Moscow to Vladivostok rail line.   Catherine was succeeded by her son with Saltykov who became Tzar Paul of Russia.

Fact is that Catherine was the Empress during the day and Catherine the Great at night, Potemkin was called the Emperor of the Night.         .

Yes ... I too enjoyed Sebastien.

He was prone to ripping someone a new one from time to time ... and at other times would come up with something different ... like 2nd and 3rd tier rugby info ... Russia ... a songs lyrics ... a poem ... some Christian passages ... fishing stories.

He certainly wasn't a bore.

He was unique ... and ... he never became Moffie's Toadie ... which to me shows a lot of character. A darn sight more so than many on here.

Hope he returns soon.

A cultured class act - way beyond the normal dolts on site.  I put the above story about Catherine the Great on site to see whether he would not react to it.

Yes most thought Seb a fine guy - if he did flounce off he was probably set a bad example by rooitwit a flouncer of note who hopes many more would flounce off and not come back. Ou rooitwit is really anti social and maladjusted.

As for JW well he too is missed and one wonders if he is okay. As kbbs go he can be rated saner than most.

Is there really any difference between posting as General Tit or posting as Koos Kombuis.....who is also an expert at 'flouncing'. The sheer stinking hypocrisy is almost in Pencil Neck's league. Neck did I say nek....hahaha....what a charming coincidence.

Hollimollicrocodolli

The generally unpleasant and unsavoury Koosie slaggs off another departed poster. If it came from anyone else there might have been some credibilty but coming from him everyone knows there is none...zip...niks...fokol. Have a look Koosie even your one and only most addicted suck-up has come out in support of Sebastianchabal......that ought to tell you somethin.

You've probably made Seba's shitlist, just another shitlist alongside several others and as for the rest they either just tolerate you or they're scared of you.

And while you you keep banging away that list fattens, no-one likes a bitter hate filled Loser.

Gawd, how happy were they when you departed Suppersupporter.

So Mozart preached that Koos Kombuis and Seb is the same person because Seb often  took an opposing view to his,   I personally think he is talking tripe.   Seb is a very English  person and he is married to a Russian lady - why should he use an Afrikaans user name under those circumstances?

As to General Tit - I cannot remember a poster using that user name since 2012.

I think that members should refrain from trying to attack other members on dubious grounds  because they differ from them  and I am afraid that the conduct of some members on site drive away other real members.

Mike.....you commented without reading Peeper's post. I can understand why, the man is so predictable. But here's what he said about Chabal. 'He didn't just disappear, he announced his departure in his usual attention-seeking manner and then came back as General Tit ' That could be a description of his own hissy fit and departure...and how typical of Peeper not to encourage Chabal to come back. The sociopath in mid season form.

LOL...no I'm most definitely not Koos Kombuis...hahahaha...there are many Insp. Clouseau's here, in fact, far more blunders... Clouseau at least gets his man in the end...here DA was accused of being Lord Voldemort, Taipan and even Hawkeye, who sadly passed away...RIP Hawkeye. Instead of RIP DumbAas. Very poor discernment.

In any event thanks for the kind words Mike and the piece on Empress Catherine...it is very accurate and it is exactly what happened.

The Super rugby has had some surprising results. The Chiefs after starting so badly have now re-established themselves with their white-washing of the Bulls in the past week and now clipping the the Jags in Buenos Aires yesterday. The Sunwolves ironically despite their unfair treatment have shown some vast improvement and play some very good attacking rugby....and some have said very few actual Japanese in their squad. This is not correct, in fact false reporting...in you check their site or wikipedia...I think I counted 35 or was it 38.

Anyway there is some irony in this...one wonders what motivates the boards of the rugby world. Is it just business only or is the underlying purpose is to promote the game worldwide. Ofcourse there should be a balance but one cannot always believe this. Japanese rugby is growing in leaps and bounds and their is great excitement building for this years major event. Should be a good one. I've looked at the packages...far too expensive in SA currency and in fact expensive for everybody. Sadly, a little too dear for us and I feel not really value for money that could give a better holiday somewhere else. Besides one can see more on screen.

Welcome back Seb,   Do I know the Russian history?   That is why it was one of the countries I had to visit  after it became possible for ordinary South Africans in the 1990's.

I wrote something about Russian History under a thread started by Mozart with the heading " Land of my fathers.....and a few immigrants"

in the Beeno's Trumpet component referring to Russia's History and relationships with the Muslims over many centuries.

Please have a look at it and see whether it is in fact accurate,

Mike, I'm not an expert...my better-half is...she found it acceptable with certain minor correction. I will relay this...at the moment we are both busy.

She also thought that this excellent article in her own words would interest you...

John W. Limbert served as the first-ever deputy assistant secretary of State for Iran from 2009 to 2010.

Seb

I am not saying the Russians were always on the receiving end of Muslim atrocities - they have a history of some wrongs as well.   Personally I think the Russians are acutely aware of heir history and they have some real problems of a historic and also fairly recent occurrences that has an impact on their outlook.

I found the article very interesting and is really showed some shortsightedness in dealing with issues that needed real diplomacy.   However, it also reflect to incidents that was very common in colonial history of European rulers.   The Rusians were not really the only culprits in that regard - the UK colonizers were even worse.

Shall we call it diplomatic misconduct of colonizers of the 19th century?
