My point is that clubs up north must really be desperate to contract spent forces like Olivier.

He was never really a top rugby player ... I can only imagine what he's like today ... being elderly and all.

Federer is one on a million. Somehow I don't think comparing Olivier to him is fair at all ... but hey ... anything to promote the elderly over the young , right?

I have never seen anywhere that you ever apply performance as a norm for sportsmen.   Matter of fact your only selection norm ever was age and  reputation - performance was never a requirement. 

You must have changed your viewpoint on that issue - a bit late I must say - but it is at least progress on your part.   Now we must just get you to consider what on the field of play are indicators if what good performance represents,   Will be a hell-of-a-job - but with perseverence we must just get there.         

Now we must also try and get the issue of aimless kicking out of your idea and  advance4 on the basis that scoring of tries are extremely important in the game of rugby.    If all of us work together and try our utmost we have a 5% chance on getting you to improve y our approach,

It is unfortunate that all your postings always refer to experience and age when discussing an y selections and  your hatred of younger sportsmen runs deep.

You have never yet credited players who score tries or contribute to tries - you tried to only convey negativity in trying to find fault with them.

You go over the moon about kicking and the usage of backline players have never even been considered in your postings from a positive perspective.

That too isn't a fair comparison, Mozart ... but you know that.

The "old" team would have been put to shame by the "young" ... if ... it was selected on merit.

The only way that the "old" could have looked the better of the two is to have had poor selections like Jantjies, De Allende, De Jongh, Kriel, Rhule, Oupa, Kolisi, Cassiem, Beast, Strauss, Bongi, Coenie, Paige, Serfontein and Skosan.

To be worse than a side that got beaten by Japan takes some doing.
