What is going on in London - we won another gold medal

This time it is in rowing - we beat the POMS, the Danish and the Australians.   Nobody expected a SA win - even when they were coming through - the commentator called that Australia was coming through to take the lead.   Need some glasses that one.    Now lets get the Sharks to take heart and do the same on Saturday.   Go the Sharks - GO

Incidentally we are joint 8th on the medal list - and there is a real potential for Le Clos to win in the 100 butterfly - he recorded the fastest time in the heats.   We are ahed if Great Britain *(2 golds), Australia (1 gold) and New Zrealand ( bronze).

 Seriously , it seems no one here actually reads and checks what posts already exist. 

The medals list is a bit does seem to be a bit misleading, because there are teams below us who have way more medals in total. Our position is based only on the gold medal count. But I guess that is what the Olympics is about. winning the gold. Like Cameron vd Burgh said in an interview with Darren Scott : "My wolrd recod could be broken in the next month, but I will be the Olympic champion for at least the next four years..............."
