Is Plumtree being a complete idiot or am I missing something. Why is he being benched for the very average Herbst?

I think this is more about giving Jannie a little kick up the backside. He hasn't been playing well thus far and that is a big concern. Plum needs to do something quickly. It's not up to Jannie to man-up to the challenge as another has a shot at displacing him.

Dave as I noted last season, watch Malherbe. I also noted I was not too concerned abourt the Stormers scrum.  Yet another good call by Beeno! Wish we had those take a bow "smileys" t ounderline the matter.

Actually the guy who looks most like a possible leading edge tighthead is Kitshoff. Seems to me he is not quick about the park and has the right build for a tighthead.

Jannie has not set the park alight. But it is early in the season and a long way to go.

Yet to have seen any evidence that Jannie has been off the mark in 2 bench starts this season - it just sums Plumtree up - an average coach, who often makes stupid selections. Like I said if Jannie was being benched by some class act then fair enough - but its bog standard Herbst

Beeno what the hell you on about - Kirchoff being too slow - what complete rubbish, since when did we need quick props - man we do read some junk on here.

What makes a prop built for tighthead Beeno? Why would you want Kirchoff at tighthead when the Stormers have 20 year Malherbe as an up and coming prospect for the Stormers - he should be playing ahead of useless Harris
