What is wrong with this Forum?

In the midst of the 2019 Super Rugby the only topics open to some members is to recover posts of years ago in a continued personal battle between members.

The same rubbish written two or here years  ago is repeated and argued about again.   The same undeserved criticism of the same players are ricked up afresh - the same praise songs in respect of some real duds of the past is ongoing.

Why are people not interested in hat is going on this year?   OK - we can refer to a thread on Schalk Burger who is leaving Saracens in mid-season where he mostly played from the bench.   Now suddenly he is an automatic player for the Stormers based on vague statements about having him being seen playing for the Club.   I m afraid I also saw him playing in games - where he was nothing special.   Despite all the praise songs would a Club release a player I mid=season if he is that good?   Definitely not.

However, that is not really important is -

*   what is going on in Super Rugby  insofar as the various franchises are concerned - very interesting and rather surprising results; and

*    which players are performing well and which not so well?

That is what I believe real rugby lovers should be interested in.   But for some of our members that is either beyond their grasp or they prefer not to discuss what is happening on the field of play.

You are the very last human being on this poor weary planet that can stand on a their little soapbox and take a moral high ground. You are entirely stuck in the past yourself. As for deserved or undeserved criticism? Who are you to say what is and isn't undeserved? What real rugby lovers should be interested in is discussing the game, whether that be today, yesterday, last month or year. To act as though you are among those people is laughable. You made it perfectly clear where you stand: Among the mud slingers.

So I am under attack from members because I plead for more attention to be paid to present rugby.  However, the attack mainly comes from the abusers of the site to settle personal scores and punt prejudiced rubbish they have been punting for years.

Sorry - I tried to get some way we can discuss the present games on site and look objectively at what players produce at present, but that is apparently not what some members wants,  They accuse others of mudslinging - but does their constant BS des erve any comments really?   

My late uncle used to say: "A wedding isn't a wedding without a proper fight."(and the next only works in Afrikaans) "Die onthaal is al lankal klaar, dan gooi ons nog die saal met klippe!"

Aag Oom Maaik, don't worry about it. Enjoy the rugby and forget about the rest....or fight, that's enjoyable too.

From what I have seen previously, and also from what I have only now just recently experienced first hand with you Michael, your blatant lying about past decisions or opinions is why people have to pull up these previous posts, to prove that you are lying

Even when the proof is posted in the very same thread that you have posted in, you still dispute it, only to say that you may have been wrong, but then call other people dishonest when you yourself are the obvious liar.

In essence Michael, you yourself are the cause of a lot of these threads being revived.

I must say, I also find it incredibly ironic that Michael often plays or portrays the role of the victim, quite well, on this forum...… but he fails to see how much on an impact his own immediate actions contribute towards other potential "victims" on this forum.

For instance...…. good ole Mike... because of this latest post of yours, enquiring about what is wrong with this forum, I decided to perform a very quick 20 second analysis, and look at how many posts you have previously created, with just the name "Mozart" in the title itself.

Please Michael.... keep in mind, this is not threads that you have actively posted in or contributed to...… this is only the number of threads that you have actually created with the name "Mozart" in the title alone.

A very quick Ctrl "F" search, then revealed the answer for me.

It is an astounding...... 253 times

Can't be important here - I have made peace with Mozart and has not aimed anything at him since then. .
