I would say there are some minor changes necessary. In the backline Willie le Roux was poor today - but he is a mercurial player and should not be left out. The center pairing was good in defence - but showed no thrust in attacking play. The Tight 5 showed grunt for about 15 minutes and then ran out of steam.

My view is that we cannot win the RC anymore - so why not give the players that can contribute next year a chance to play. There is no way that we can afofrd to play with players like Jannie, Willem Alberts and Matfield next year - and Hougaard today was poor and not up to standard. Jean this year is not a pactch on what he was last year and I cannot see him lasting another year as Springbok captain.
Frankly we do not need the geritrics in the team anymore.
