Without knowing the teams - my initial ideas about the matches I Round 3 are as follows:-
Hurricanes vs Brumbies
Although this is a home game for the Hurricanes - their questionable performance against the Waratahs and poor performance against the Crusaders leave question marks about the outcome. They will struggle against the forward pack of the Brumbies.
I think the game is a toss-up wit the Brumbies based on their performance against the Chiefs being a slight favourite.
Rebels vs Highlanders
The Highlanders have two iffy wins thus far this year - narrowly beating the poor Chiefs outfit and the Reds, The Rebels have a good game against the Brumbies, who humiliated the Chiefs subsequently, Based on the above and no really as yet determining the real strength of the Reds - my money is on the Rebels beating the Highlanders.
Chiefs vs Sunwolves
The Chiefs are bottom of the Super Rugby log after two rounds with the Sunwolves just one place above them. They were atrocious against the Brumbies and another loss is really unbelievable. Even though the Sunwolves came within a whisker of beating the Waratahs - I still think the Chiefs may win this game. But will they?
Reds vs Crusaders
Nobody knows how strong the Reds is this year. However, the Crusaders are wihoiut doubt the strongest team in New Zealand and I think the Reds will have a huge battle to beat the Crusaders, My money is on the Crusaders to win this game.
Lions vs Bulls
A visit to Argentina and then back the next week to play an SA opponent is not ideal - see what happened to te Lions on Saturday, I think the Lions will win this one.
Sharks vs Stormers
The Sharks was classy in their humiliation of the Blues and the Stormers were poor against the Bulls and struggled against the Lions, My money is on the Sharks to win this one.
Jaguares vs Blues
This will be too high a mountain to climb for the Blues and I think they will be lucky not to lose with a larger loosie margin than against the Sharks. A certain loss by the Blues.
