Jordaan rounds Savea with an inside/outside step that made JJ's look ordinary. Surely now Dave will say Jordaan is a better centre. I mean, thats all it took for him to "cement" JJ in the Bok run on team at 13.

When I told dumb Dave that Savea was not the hardest guy to round, he thought I was stupid. Savea is no Piutau or Ben Smith. He is a big man and takes a fair bit extra for him to turn. He is nowhere near as nippy as the smaller guys but Dave just cant see that and its because the bloke has probably never played a game in his life.

So, we have Jordaan who runs better, tackles better, has more skill and is looking much sharper but we will still hear Dave say JJ is the better player!

As for Marnitz Boshoff only filling in for Jantjies...Ha ha another of Daves calls thats a joke. As long as he is producing the goods, Marnitz is here to stay!

Saffex has a serious problem with regard to his favoured players.   Aside from the two mentioned by you - the Sharks beat the Hurricanes despite an absolute shocker by Francois Steyn.  The latter crashballed 9 times - in the process losing possession of the ball 3 times and giving away 2 penalties.  Aside from that his missed tackle ratio was 28,7%. Steyn never once passed the ball to players outside of him.   The only time Jordaan made that run was when Lambie cut out Steyn and passed the ball directly to Jordaan.

Steyn started the same way last year - his first game was reasonable -  the succeeding games progressively worse - until Plumtree got so frustrated he dropped him from the team.   The same would happen this year - White is going to be grilled about what Steyn did yesterday and I wonder how he is going to handle it.

As to Earl Silky Hands Jantjies - I said before the season started that Boshoff will be the Lions no 1 flyhalf and Saffex had a fit about that one.  He will soon see Jantjies play Vodacom Cup Rugby for the Lions.

Must admit - his other favourite Hougaard did slightly better than in Round 1 - but was still bog ordinary - making only two clearcut mistakes,

Jordaan beat Savea nicely, buts that' s all he did in a dominating Sharks side......for the rest of the game he was a non entity

Jordaan was a nonentity because Steyn never once passed the ball to a player outside of him.   No player can perform when Steyn played he way he did.  What Steyn did on Saturday was the most disgusting display of ball hogging and sabotage of backline play I have seen for years.   He was a regular clueless fuckwit of the worst order imaginable and killed the Sharks backline.

What exactly did Steyn do to be credited with having "a damn good game...........great to see him in such great form"?

Was physically massive in contact and I saw him making tackle after tackle.......he was one of our best backs on display and he is looking lean and mean......great to see him in such commanding form.....the Sharks are looking good thanks to the solidity at 10 and 12

He made 7 tackle attempts and missed 2 of those and he never once passed a ball to any player outside of him.   If that is good play - then I have to say we have another idiot playing rugby for the Sharks - he totally sabotaged any potential backline play and no amount of him being physically massive would offset the playing of  absolutely fucked up rugby in this case.

The worst display I have ever seen of an inside center in my life  and that says a lot.

You are lying he passed the ball 5 times and kicked it twice........and he beat 2 defenders......if this is not lying about a player then I do not know what is - you have been exposed AGAIN

I said he never passed a ball once to a player outside of him.  You are very selective about the stats - what about the 3 ball possession losses and the 2 penalties he gave away - as well as the missed tackles.  Lets face facts - he fucked the game up badly.

Clever your language is a barometer to your sense of being taken to the cleaners. My advice, stop trying to be sooooo Clever, and clean up your act.

Sorry about the language usage - after what I saw on Saturday of  Steyn - I have never stopped cursing - it started halfway into the match.  I apologise - but I have never been so upset about a players performance as I was in this case.

A friend of mine who witnessed it actually saw how upset I was and advised me to calm down - it could affect my health
